- George Webster Crenshaw (1913-2007) created the comic strip Belvedere (1962-1995). He created more syndicated cartoon features than any cartoonist on record. Sometimes he use his pen-name 'Nat Greenwood'. He had been a ghost cartoonist for Hank Ketchams comic 'Dennis the Menace'. He also worked as assistant animator for Walt Disney's 'Fanasia', 'Pinocchio' and some Donald Duck cartoons.
